Daeng Gi Meo Ri

Daeng Gi Meo Ri is made by Doori Cosmetics, a Korean company founded in May 1998. The brand's name refers to 'daenggi', the traditional ribbon used to tie braided hair in Korea, a nod to the long history of Korean hair care.

In December 1999 the company launched its first Daeng Gi Meo Ri Hair Tonic. The brand describes itself as Korea's first traditional oriental herbal hair care brand, drawing on Korean herbal medicine knowledge and using long infusion and fermentation processes to prepare its herbal extracts.

Today the range covers shampoos, conditioners, scalp packs and herbal hair colour. The Ki Gold Premium Shampoo and Dlae Soo line are among its best known, and the Vitalizing Scalp Nutrition Pack is a rinse-off scalp and hair mask.
