About Skinfood

Skinfood is a South Korean food-cosmetics brand. Its name combines 'skin' and 'food', and its long-running motto is that food which is good for you can also be good for your skin. The 'Since 1957' on its logo refers to the heritage of Peeres, the Korean cosmetics maker the brand's roots go back to.

Launched in the early 2000s, the brand grew quickly as a Korean road-shop favourite. The Black Sugar Mask Wash Off became one of its signature products, loved for its cookie-dough-like texture of fine black sugar grains and shea butter.

In 2020 Skinfood released the Carrot Carotene Calming Water Pad, which has sold more than 10 million units and led to more ingredient-led pads and masks. Today the range covers toner pads, sheet masks, wash-off masks, essences and makeup.
