It began with essential-oil roll-ons and massage oils free from mineral oil and silicones, and today makes vegan skin, hair and body care that blends aromatherapy with plant-based formulas and thoughtful, low-waste packaging.

About Aromatica

AROMATICA was founded in 2004 by Jerry Kim, an aromatherapist who wanted to bring the benefits of essential oils into everyday products. The brand began with aromatherapy roll-ons and massage oils made without mineral oil or silicones, at a time when clean beauty was still a niche idea in Korea.

Over the following years AROMATICA expanded into skincare, hair care, body care and home care, keeping essential oils and plant-based ingredients at the heart of its formulas. The brand states that its products are vegan and not tested on animals, and it partners with The Vegan Society. It is also known for its focus on sustainability, including recycled packaging and refill-friendly options.

Its rosemary line is the best known. The Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo, Root Enhancer and scalp tonic use rosemary extract and essential oil to help keep the scalp feeling clean, fresh and balanced. The quinoa protein range and tea tree shampoo round out the hair care edit.
