Mise En Scene

Mise en scène was launched in 2000 by Amorepacific, Korea's leading beauty group. The name comes from the French film term for the arrangement of everything on stage, a nod to the brand's focus on styled, camera-ready hair.

The brand began with hair colour and quickly expanded into a full range of hair care and styling, helping bring a salon-inspired look to Korean bathrooms. It positions itself as a total hair cosmetic brand, covering everything from cleansing and conditioning to finishing and styling.

Its breakthrough product is the Perfect Serum, launched in 2011. The lightweight hair oil blends multiple oils to smooth, add shine and help protect hair from dryness, and it became one of Amorepacific's major hair care sellers. The line has since grown to include matching shampoos, conditioners and scented versions, and was renewed in 2022.
