About COSRX

COSRX is a South Korean skincare brand founded in 2013 and headquartered in Gangnam, Seoul. Its philosophy is 'Friendly Derma Cosmetics': professional, effective skincare presented in a familiar, casual way, using proven ingredients and original research.

The brand grew from listening to customers' skin concerns and answering them with focused formulas. Its Advanced Snail line became its signature, led by the Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and the Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream. COSRX also launched its original pimple pad in 2015, the start of its One Step pad line, and later added The RX range of targeted serums, including The Vitamin C 23 Serum and The Retinol 0.1 Cream.

Global growth followed quickly. COSRX entered Amazon in 2018, where the snail essence became a standout, and Amorepacific took a 38.4% stake in September 2021 before moving to acquire the remaining shares in October 2023, making COSRX a subsidiary. Today the brand's products are sold in well over 100 countries.
