Pyunkang Yul

Pyunkang Yul grew out of Pyunkang Korean Medicine Hospital, a Korean medicine clinic established in Seoul in 1979. Over decades the clinic focused on skin comfort and Korean herbal knowledge, and in March 2016 it launched Pyunkang Yul to bring that experience into everyday skincare.

The brand's philosophy is minimalism. Its formulas use as few ingredients as needed, with no added fragrance or colourants, so they stay gentle and easy to understand. Ingredients from Korean herbal tradition, such as astragalus root, are at the heart of the range.

The signature Essence Toner is a seven-ingredient formula built on astragalus root extract.
